Hi there, I’m Chloe Olivia Sladden and welcome to my first blog, the girl and the city of books. A few things about me, I just turned 21, I’m studying for a Masters Degree in Journalism and the NCTJ diploma and I volunteer as a Leader in Training for Girl Guiding UK.
Since I can remember I’ve been an avid reader with a never ending reading list, my favourite genres are fantasy, science fiction, and mystery. I created this blog because I wanted there to be a space to discuss and review books, that showcase females in literature.
This includes books by female authors, books with amazing female characters, and books enjoyed by female readers. And for likeminded readers to discover more about the amazing authors, books and characters out there, with an empathise on female authors, books and characters, through this blog.
